No Love is a five piece punk rock band from Raleigh, North Carolina. Their new single is Dogs//Wolves b/w Bad Things released as part of Sorry State Records North Carolina Single Series. Fronted by Elizabeth Lynch, guitarist Daniel Lupton also runs the aforementioned Sorry State Records which just celebrated their two year anniversary as a physical record store. No Love takes the bedrock of hardcore punk, speed, distortion and anger and slows it down just a touch to allow some melody and perhaps a hook to enter the picture. Both these songs have a great driving energy, the a-side Dogs//Wolves is a little more streamlined & catchy while the b-side Bad Things is a little more chaotic and noisy but not by much. If you're looking for some well executed proto-punk influenced punk rock No Love's new single will serve well.
